Sporty with a Twist

Topshop White Turtle Neck Top | Motel Rocks Mirror Print Skirt | Romwe Varsity Jacket | Shibuya 109 (Japan) Cross Necklace | GOWIGASA White Back Pack | Decimal Shoes Creepers | MAC Pink Nouveau Lipstick

This is just another way to rock a varsity jacket: mix it with a skirt!
I personally am crazy about the graphic and colors of the skirt, and how it pops out against the black&white, so thank you Motel Rocks! :D

In case you are wondering what lipstick I'm wearing in this post, it is Pink Nouveau by MAC <3

LION, TURTLE, AND LEOPARD

Turtlenecks have been my obsession lately, especially when they are cropped like this one I'm wearing! Been loving it when I first saw it on American Apparel website, and I was so happy when I found it in Topshop that I bought them in 3 colors right away <3 You've probably seen one of them in my post here.

Today I paired it with this rad leopard print pants from The Editor's Market which I find super comfortable and fit my body really well, especially in the waist part. Love it!

For accessories, I went with my favorite gold lion pendant necklace from GOWIGASA and I also put on a black belt to accentuate my waist.

I'm one of those people who get cold easily, that's why I always bring an outerwear when going out... just in case.
The same backpack with the one I was wearing here and here :)
Got nothing but LOVE for this gorgeous platform boots <3

Save Orangutans

The bad news:
Orangutans are in serious trouble.

As we know, now Orangutans population has declined due to the massacre in their own habitat, one of them in the area of natural forest in Kalimantan, which has now been converted into palm oil industry. According to the case since 2008, Orangutans murdered for being a destructive pest that must be exterminated. Ways to slaughter like a rifle shot, burned, tortured, if ways are still not successful, hunting dogs will be released to pursue Orangutans. There's even a contest with prizes of 500 thousand to 1 million rupiahs for capturing orangutans alive or dead.

The GOOD news:
We can still help them.

How?
By purchasing this awesome shirt from Wellborn Company for IDR 70.000 only! Wellborn Company will donate 100% of the sales profit to BOSF (Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation).

Let's participate for a good cause! Have a great weekend ahead guys! :)

So yeah, that's that. Thank you for reading, and please leave a comment below on how do you view money in your life, I'd love to know! :)

Nice People

Sheinside Bart Sweater | GOWIGASA Peterpan Collar Top (as inner) | Forever21 Cobalt Blue Pants | JuneandJulia Lola Boots | GOWIGASA Backpack

Just got back from our short trip to Bandung. Although it was a business-purpose trip but we had a lot of fun AND lessons as we met many talented, smart, funny, yet so humble people (my favorite kind of people!) ♡
Thank you Bisma Karisma and Theo Faybriean for being kind and helpful hosts. Nice people DO exist! :)

QOTD:
For what it's worth: it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Valentine 2013 // Wet n Wild Giveaway Winners

Behold, the belated post of my Valentine's day dinner date at Scusa, a comfy, modern-stylish Italian restaurant located just inside Intercontinental Hotel, Jakarta. :)

\\ THE MENU \\
The menu was placed under this round glass, made a nice decor and also cleverly served as a placemat.

\\ THE FOOD \\
↑ Sweet Water Prawn Cocktail with preserved lemon ↑
Lobster Bisque clams, langoustine and spinach tortellini ↑
Sole Fillet zucchini and herb flan, tomato-basil chutney and saffron reduction ↑
Wagyu Beef Tenderloin Parmesan potato cake and truffled veal jus ↑
Chocolate Cake fresh cream, marinated strawberries and vanilla-almond ice cream ↑

\\ THE PLACE \\
The whole dinner experience was nice, the food was pretty in presentation but average in taste. The appetizers - Prawn Cocktail, Lobster Bisque and Sole Fillet were great, but we expected more for the main entry and dessert, which I thought weren't very good.

The ambience was casually romantic, the whole place was dimly lit, each table was presented with a pretty red rose for the lady and decorated with rose petals and a candle. A Jazz duo performing live on stage and romantic music would fill in whenever the musicians took a break or two.

Oh, and because it was Valentine's Day, the place was packed, I mean, REALLY packed with young couples dressing up and sitting across from each other, eating and throwing awkward conversations lol. So, if you are looking for a more private place, this might not be it. But if you're looking for a more casual-yet-you-can-still-dress-up fine dining moment, you know where to call:
